Info Nichey Quartet:

Nichey Quartet is Nobody’s because:
1) as of yet there is no other name
2) the explanations of Leonid Senderskiy and Grigory Voskoboynik are also unsuitable
3) there is no point in asking Mikheyev and Degusarov
4) the audience never comments on this except to ask: “Why is it Nichey Quartet and Nobody Else’s Quartet?”
In terms of style Nichey Quartet (NQ) is indistinguishable from the gray and faceless mass of pointless jazz quartets with the exception of:
1) NQ performs Leonid Sendresiy’s music
2) NQ has never once performed at weddings, birthdays, the opening of textile factories or the launch of a nuclear submarines
3) The members of NQ masterfully play their instruments and are able to correct the works of Leonid Senderskiy independently, which cannot be said about the works of Gershwin or Brubeck, the icons of global jazz music.
Besides:
1) Girls of a romantic disposition will find for themselves a solace in the tender ballad “Soft Light” and will feel a man’s shoulder to lean on (although more a man’s very being than a shoulder) in the aggressive rock-jazz “Roots”
2) We pay special attention to the girls in our audience because they need daily verbal or written confirmation of men’s stylistic tendencies.
3) For the rest of our adored public we (NQ) simple-minded musicians, modestly earning their daily bread
4) We love to record ringtones to order
We would like to thank:
1) absolutely all musicians and non-musicians for giving us the things which prompted us to record our first album
2) all jazz clubs and non-jazz clubs and non-clubs and particularly the JFC Jazz Club
3) our nearest and dearest
4) the “Guitarist” shop for the 5 stereo 1.5 inch jacks in a pack and for the Hohner guitar which A. Degusarov fell in love with.
